Brett Favre Later Career
Brett Favre, as you may have read, did not get off to the best start in the NFL.  As Favre’s career went on things did not take long to turn around. After his first game, he saw playing time for the Green Bay Packers. He is now the only professional athlete in any sport to have started every game for his team over a 15 year period.  He has been selected to nine Pro Bowls and has almost every Green Bay quarterback record.  Favre has lead the league in touchdown passes a record four times.  As his career still continues, Favre keeps managing to break records or set new ones.  In the Bullz-eye they talk about Brett Favre’s biography and in there it was stated that, “To list every one of Favre’s accomplishments would take up an entire 120 page book and what he has meant to the NFL and the Green Bay Packers organization could never be put into words.”

In Favre’s later career it was not just an easy walk in the park. He has had to learn to play through several hard things.  Favre played through the death of his brother-in-law, the diagnosis of breast cancer to his wife, and played in a game the day after his father’s death.  Then in 2008, Favre went to the New York Jets and played one year with them. The next year he signed with the Minnesota Vikings and ended up panning out great with the great backs and wide receivers. Favre was a great match to put together a good team. They ended up with a 13-5 record overall and now Favre has not said what the plan is for next year. Many people thought Favre’s game would end in Green Bay, but it just goes to show that Favre is out there because he loves the game and is still able to compete.
