With the long career Brett Favre has had he has accomplished a lot. So far he is the leading player to have the most consecutive starts at 285 or 309 including playoff games. Favre was named the Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year in 2007 and has been in the Pro-Bowl 9 times in his career. Favre won the Associated Press MVP Award three times, all in consecutive years (1995, 1996, 1997). The United States Sports Academy Male Athlete of the Year Award in 2007 was awarded to Favre making him finish ahead of Tiger Woods and Tom Brady. In 1999, Favre was ranked number 82 on The Sporting News' list of the 100 Greatest Football Players. In 2005, TSN published another special feature honoring the 50 Greatest Quarterbacks. With his career statistics, Favre was ranked number 4, behind Johnny Unitas, Joe Montana and John Elway, and just ahead of previous Packer quarterback legend Bart Starr. Favre has the most career passing touchdowns with 442 and most passing yards with 61,665. Favre is the only quarterback to have led a team to victory over all thirty-two teams in the league since the NFL first expanded to 32 franchises in 2002 and also has received the NFC Player of the Week Award 12 times.
