Brett Favre Leadership

 

Brett Favre is one that is definitely known for his leadership on and off the field.  Brett Favre is a guy that is setting an example just by the way he plays the game.  He is not all about himself or what he has done but just flat out wanting to play because of the love of the game.  His leadership is shown in a number of different ways.  Just to give some insight Favre played the next day after his father passed away just to go and be a leader for his team. A leader he was, he had a great game against the Oakland Raiders and they won 42-7 with Favre leading the way.

Brett Favre is one of the most respected leaders of any professional team.  He is a man who knows more about the game than probably many coaches today.   David Bohl in Biz Times states, “Here are a few pointers from Brett Favre’s Playbook on Leading With Humility.”   “When we lead with humility, we devote ourselves to we instead of me.”  “Humility is about putting others first.” Another great one is talking about how we can lead with humility. “To lead with humility requires an understanding of our own, dual nature.  

Brett Favre is obviously as you have read a great leader. He is still today playing football and working hard to be the best leader he can.  His main focus is just to win games not to break records and no matter what team he is playing for he will play to win. Favre played this past year with the Vikings where he was a great leader and the team had a great season ending with a record of 13-5.
